AX 4.0 Launched in UK

Dynamics AX Version 4.0 was officially launched in the UK at a special event for Microsoft Certified Partners held at Microsoft HQ in Reading. A comprehensive demonstration of the product was
accompanied by a walk-through of key improvements in functionality, quality, performance, and security including:

• Office/Outlook 2003 style user interface

• More powerful searching, filtering and Help facilities

• New Alerts feature

• New Service Management module for Manufacturing Service
Organisations
There would also be built in support for RFID.

• Improved and extended functionality in Supply Chain Management including Inter-company capabilities, Financial Management including Dimensions Hierarchy, Project Accounting, Production (sub-contacting) and CRM.
